About Gemma

Hello, I’m Gemma

I offer counselling for adults and couples, with support for anxiety, low mood, relationships, grief, trauma and addiction. You don't need to have everything worked out before getting in touch.

Integrative counselling means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to suit you. Some sessions focus on being heard and understood; others include practical tools, coping techniques and exploring patterns.

We work together at your pace, with space to discuss what you want from therapy and review how things are going.

I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a bachelor's degree in integrative counselling. I am a BACP Registered Member and a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

Talking, understanding and practical support

There is no single approach that suits everyone. We can make room for your thoughts and feelings, explore patterns, and use practical coping strategies where they are helpful. The relationship between us is central: feeling comfortable enough to talk matters.

Getting to know each other

The free 15-minute introduction is a chance to ask questions and get a feel for working together. We can discuss your needs, whether I am the right person to help, and the arrangements for sessions.
